I paint primarily in watercolour though my work may not always reflect that. In my paintings I use a series of light washes combined with very heavy layers of colour which is fairly uncommon among watercolour artists as the goal of watercolour painting is for the image to retain a certain degree of transparency.
My inspirations are incredibly varied and therefore so are the subjects of my paintings. When I am not working on commissioned pieces I just paint whatever strikes my fancy. My most popular works are certainly my individual animal paintings followed closely by my faerie portraits.
I put a great deal of time and effort into developing my talents and I thoroughly enjoy creating though this is mostly a hobby for me.
My artistic outlets aren't only restricted to painting, I also dabble in a large variety of crafty things ranging from jewellery making to creating little fat cows and sheep with fimo polymer clay. In the future I hope to offer more for sale than just my paintings but for the moment they are most practical.
I base the prices of my paintings on the amount of time (and layers)that I put into them. You can get a general idea of the prices I would charge for commissioned pieces by browsing my Etsy shop where I have several paintings currently available for purchase which are arranged by size.
